All the way back to our initial pilots, Entole asked wealth owners an important question about wealth education: “Can I use Entole to educate my children about my wealth journey?” We have continued to discover that this question led to a common underlying concern amongst our clients and family office team members, are my family members prepared to succeed me if necessary (generally the “What if I were struck by a bus?” inquiry).

At the same time, we received similar requests from inheriting adult beneficiaries hoping to learn more about their family plans for such an event.

As may be apparent, both situations are really two sides of the same issue: “Do family members have access to sufficient data and information to make an emergency wealth transition possible?”

After thoughtful deliberation, we sought to highlight Entole features to address the emergency needs alongside the more routine need of keeping families on the same page regarding wealth and the family’s future. These features include:

·        Educating young next-generation beneficiaries on the family's history and the process by which wealth was acquired. (We have found that understanding this history leads future generations to act in ways that ensure the preservation of existing wealth and the creation of more.)

·        Educating next-generation adult beneficiaries who still lack a comprehensive understanding of the family office’s organization and functions so that they are prepared for the future.
